RIO's Christmas Island Carpet Shrimp Orange #4

Designed on Christmas Island, this fly was the result of cutting and gluing multiple flies on hand to create the perfect triggerfish pattern. With a stout hook and "Aunt Lydia's" carpet yarn, this fly is a killer. Searching for a spawning shrimp imitation that both triggerfish and bonefish will eat readily, we ended up with this pattern that really fits the bill. It will also work great for hungry Permit.
