Tommy Lynch’s Drunk and Disorderly fly has made a big splash in the streamer world over the last few years, and has accounted for some seriously huge fish. The D&D is a large articulated streamer with tons of flash and a deer hair head cut at an angle to give the fly a diving or fluttering motion in the water. This pattern is able to achieve an erratic action similar to that of the swimming jimmy because the head is treated with a UV resin– Creating a hydrophobic wedge that forces water over the body at different angles each time it is retrieved.
